Football Players Who Grew Up Poor

10. Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez possessed a sheer determination and passion to play the game he truly loved and he was just 6 when he started ruling the ball barefooted in the local streets of his city in Uruguay. He was born in the family of seven childrens and it was getting quite difficult for his parents to get the things going as the family migrated into another city which wasn’t so popular but was known for its crime rate and Luis Suarez certainly didn’t had any luxury in his life just like many south american footballers. He even started working at a very young age to earn but it was his love for Football that kept him alive. By the age of Nine, he was scouted by Nacional, after he displayed some incredible skills in a local football game and from there, things significantly started to improve for Luis Suarez who later on went onto play for Ajax, did wonders at Liverpool and currently is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world at Barcelona.
