Rob Green is the first choice goalkeeper for Queens Park Ranger and has been in good form recently. As a result Alex McCarthy is on the bench and is willing to leave the London club in January. A number of Premier League teams are in need of good shot stoppers and Liverpool in particular know how talented McCarthy is after his stunning performance for Blackburn against the Reds.
